History

 
The Greater Seattle Ostomy Affiliated Support Group was formed before 1980. We offer emotional support, information, educational services and advice to a patient/individual with an ostomy or continent diversion or those facing these surgeries and to their families. An ostomy is a life-changing surgery however we strive to communicate that one can live life to the fullest with an ostomy.
 
We are a non-profit organization under the umbrella of the UOAA (United Ostomy Associations of America) and we have an IRS 501(c)(3) charity status.
 
WE DO NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE.

Our association is dedicated to the aid and rehabilitation of persons with ostomies and continent procedures.
